David Fisher, MBA
Managing Director - Investments
"I have always enjoyed working with people to set goals and then help them put a plan in place to accomplish them. Everything I do is about "putting the client first". It's rewarding to know that I am helping my clients plan for important life events - whether it's sending kids to school, enjoying a secure retirement, or protecting wealth for the next generation."
David Fisher is a veteran Financial Advisor who listens to his clients to gain a clear understanding of their current financial situation as well as their immediate and long-range goals. He then formulates an investment approach that can incorporate private money management, equity and fixed income investments, mutual funds, managed futures, and annuities to help his clients achieve their goals, whether they are sending children to college, planning a secure retirement, or passing wealth on to their heirs.
As a principal member of Hanson-Fisher Wealth Management, Dave is responsible for oversight of investment strategy, client services, and advisor development. He frequently conducts classes on investment issues, including asset allocation and equity investment strategies, and retirement and estate planning topics. He also makes presentations to business owners on retirement benefits, liquidity matters, and executive compensation. David earned an advanced degree in economics and finance from the University of Chicago™ Graduate School of Business after receiving undergraduate and advanced engineering degrees from Iowa State University and the University of Texas at Austin. Dave joined A.G. Edwards in 1998 after spending nearly 10 years at a Fortune 500 company working in corporate finance and marketing.
