Tim has worked in the financial services industry interacting with financial advisors and firms since 2009. Prior to joining Benjamin F. Edwards, his career was focused on Asset Management for First Trust Portfolios, LLP. For over a decade, Tim traded investment-grade corporate and municipal bonds. It was there that Tim gained invaluable knowledge from spending each day “in the market”; however, he always missed the personal interactions, and the joy relationships bring to this business. In 2020, Tim joined Hanson-Fisher Wealth Management seeking to combine his knowledge of the marketplace with his passion for working closely with people toward achieving a common goal.
Tim graduated from Wheaton College with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics. He and his wife Sarah, live in Wheaton, IL with their four children. As a family they enjoy being active, golfing, and traveling to see family in Minnesota and Michigan. He also enjoys volunteering and currently serves at his church and is chair of the board of Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream, IL.
